Artists for Animals raises money for Texas Animal Rescue

Artists for Animals is a Texas based non-profit organization founded almost 8 years ago to give artists and art lovers a voice in the on-going fight against animal homelessness in north Texas. Each year, literally THOUSANDS of adoptable pets are euthanized because local shelters are just too  full to house them and there is a desperate lack of foster homes.

Co-founded by Teresa Berg and Erin Hannigan, AFA creates events and raises money to support local shelters and animal rescue groups who are, frankly, too busy saving lives to get out and raise money!  The Tiny Dog Calendar contest is one of the events we organize each year to raise money for local animal rescue groups who apply  for funds via a Grant proposal. In some cases, the money goes to cover the costs of spay/neuter surgeries, or other vet bills. Sometimes it buys food or cages or other supplies -- but the need is desperate. 

The dogs in this contest all received a free photo session and are GETTING OUT THE VOTE! So please choose your favorite and buy a few tax deductible votes?  You'll be saving lives and helping get stray cats and dogs in to loving homes --what could be more rewarding?
