There's a lot to like about being photographed in a co-working space. They're usually filled with light and cool furniture -- and if you're interested in an open concept natural light background and a modern business casual look, you can't do better. Unlike a traditional office, the common areas are large with plenty of room for headshots and also more full-body shots , think lots of variety for personal branding, social media and blogging. In some cases, we can even set up the shots to look like "work in progress" and do a full year's worth of photography for you in a single session. And no one has to know it's not YOUR corporate headquarters.
This week we met clients in the Hana space in uptown. A beautiful light-filled space in the Park View building across from Clyde Warren Park in the Park District. Great people and plenty of room for a variety of looks for our clients.
If you're a member of a co-working space, we'd love to hear about how you like it and what features work the best for you. Maybe your space would like to sponsor a "Headshots Day" as a perk to their members? Our next studio location may be a private office in a co-working space and we're excited about the possibilities.
